The Irish Medical Journal is a peer-reviewed general medical journal. Established in 1867, it has a long and distinguished reputation both inside and outside Ireland. Its mission is to disseminate research that improves clinical practice, to act as an education forum for working doctors, and to highlight public health matters. It is published electronically with ten issues annually. There is open, free access to its content. Authors are not charged any fees for the publication of their manuscripts. Learn more
