Abstract

RETRACTION NOTICE

Fitzgerald N, Comber H, O’Malley R, Dowling E, Wallace E, Lydon S, Murphy AW, Kelly ME have requested that their paper "An analysis of applications and acceptances to the National Specialist Training Programme in General Practice Ireland from 2021-2024’ [Ir Med J 2025;118(7): 114]" be retracted. Post-publication, the authors discovered discrepancies in the original dataset leading to inaccuracies in the subsequent analysis and findings.

A corrected version of the paper is available online and has been published in the November-December 2025 issue of the IMJ.
