An opportunity has arisen for a full time Consultant Paediatrician position in Gibraltar covering a small paediatric unit of four consultants (no junior doctors) and providing fully consultant-delivered services, including acute & general paediatrics, level 1 neonates and neurodisability/developmental paediatric community services to a local childhood population of 800 0. Non-resident on call cover will be provided on a 1 in 4 rota with internal cover.
Applicants must hold full registration with the UK General Medical Council, with a licence to practise and be on the Specialist Register.
The above appointment is offered on contract terms to commence in January 2018. Salary, dependent on experience ranges from £107,777 to £132,984 per annum, on a pro rata basis. In addition the post holder will be paid a sum of 10% of the basic salary for undertaking on-call duties and a supplement of 8% of the basic salary in order to provide cross cover of colleagues, for whatever reason, up to a maximum of ten weeks per year.
Passages are payable and transportation of personal effects and accommodation is subsidised.
