It’s important that every incoming Intern has the knowledge and support that they need to enter their first day on the job with confidence, which is why the IMO is hosting five Intern Information Nights around the country from July 3rd – 7th, 2017.
The nights are an opportunity for interns to meet their new colleagues in their Intern Training Network, learn about the realities of working in the HSE, and celebrate the commencement of their medical careers. There will be an event in Cork in the Clayton Hotel, on Monday July 3rd
There will be a 20-minute presentation by IMO staff about the NCHD contract and the work the IMO is doing on behalf of interns, followed by advice from an NCHD about how to make their most of their intern year. You’ll also learn about the benefits you’ll receive as an IMO member from IMO Financial Services, including free permanent health insurance and life cover for 2017.
